BIG VICTORY! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Hi Friends of UT,

The CPC votes were counted and we have finally seen that the strangle-hold of misinformation and disingenuous efforts are being chopped down.

Out of the 293 people who were mislead and coerced into signing the petition to begin the process, 113 of our neighbors learned the truth about the overlay and what the proponents are actually trying to do to us.

Therefore, only 180 people voted for the overlay. That is a drop of 39%!

Thank you for taking the time to learn what effect this will have on your property and the potential irreversible effects that this will have if passed.

Let's keep up the good work.

  1. Geee-od! The disinformation around here is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

Hey Mason and Dijea, I thought you guys said that you couldn't add a second story to your house because of "bad concrete". Then tonight you stood up in front of a whole gymnasium of your neighbors and said that you had to add a second story and the NSO is going to keep you from doing it (which is patently false).

You said online at utnsoyes.blogspot.com : "I've had a structural engineer look at it and they said it could be reinforced but that I would have foundation problems until it fell down. "

So, tell me now; which time were you misrepresenting this situation; when you said that, or when you got up in front of all your neighbors and told us all how the NSO was going to keep you from being able to build that second story? You know, the one the structural engineer said would eventually collapse.

Too, tonight you quoted that 85% of all the houses in UT are listed in Fair condition. The really hilarious part is you said that right after Jack Ormberget got up and talked about all the money he'd put into his house so he could get a good market value when he sold, talking about trying to get close to the top of the market.

The punch line is; Jack's house is listed in Fair condition, and his house is beautiful and, by his public admission tonight, he's put a lot of money into it.

So, I guess the fact that 85% of the homes in UT being listed in Fair condition is quite the boogey man you'd hoped it would be for everyone.

One more question; Any idea who was out the other night, sometime between 10 pm and 6 am distributing that anonymous flyer that misrepresented the 20 ft height slope plane?

The reason I ask is those misrepresentations seemed at the core of all of your arguments tonight.
